About Me
My name is Janete Encarnação, I’m 32 years old, and I’ve been a massage therapist and holistic therapist since 2012. I’ve also recently been trained as a facilitator of the Inês Gaya method of awakening circles and I’m the guardian of the sacred womb, I’m the CEO of Pura Essência.
I’m very passionate about everything I do professionally and I believe that when we work with our hearts, our purpose is fulfilled.
Pura Essência came into my life in an online format through a blog where I wrote about what it was like to be a therapist, but on October 31, 2016, it became a physical space, where I placed a lot of love and responsibility and I still believe that this has been the basis for keeping me on this path of providing those who come to me with an experience that is not only relaxing but also a moment of self-knowledge and surrender.
In addition to the services I provide at Pura Essência, I also do freelance work in rural tourism, at home and in other places aimed at caring for people. Recently I have also run sacred circles and retreats where I work a lot on the sacred feminine but also on human development.

INTUITIVE MASSAGE
This massage aims to work the body and mind by balancing the 7 main chakras, honoring the connection between the being and the earthly and spiritual plane. There is no fixed sequence, the massage will be guided intuitively by the therapist.
LOCALIZED THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Therapeutic massage is indicated for muscle tension, stress, contractures, back pain, chronic muscle pain, muscle fatigue and insomnia, and is performed with greater pressure and depth.
RELAXATION MASSAGE
It’s a subtle, relaxing massage that restores balance to the body and mind through gentle movements, warm oil and aromatherapy.
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Also known as Shiroabhyanga or champi, this Indian head massage not only provides relaxation but also improves the body’s entire energy flow, among countless other benefits.
FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
The massage is performed on the soles of the feet, pressing on the reflex zones in order to balance the whole body, with the aim of speeding up the client’s metabolism as well as providing them with a moment of well-being and relaxation.
CANDLE MASSAGE
Massage performed with warm oil candles, the movements are gentle in order to provide the client with a moment of relaxation with the combination of aromas and temperature of the candles.
REIKI
Reiki is not a massage but a complementary therapy, with the aim of revitalizing, balancing and assisting in healing processes.
GEOTHERMAL MASSAGE
Massage with hot stones, with the aim of not only relaxing but also revitalizing the body and mind. The stones sliding over the muscles activates the circulatory system.
ENERGETIC MASSAGE
Massage performed with more pressure in order to speed up the client’s metabolism, using pressure points and maneuvers from massage therapy and Tui-ná.
BAMBUTHERAPY
Modeling massage performed with bambo canes of different sizes, with the aim of eliminating toxins from the body, thus reducing cellulite, localized fat and flaccidity.
LOMI LOMI FUSION
Hawaiian massage with a fusion of Deep Tissue and Thai promotes deep relaxation renews body and soul relieves pain rebalances the body and your energy, combats stress and anxiety among other benefits.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Manual lymphatic drainage is a body massage that aims to help eliminate excess fluids and toxins, helping to treat cellulite, swelling and fluid retention. Lymphatic drainage doesn’t lose weight, but it does help you lose volume.
